Semi-Offical Date for No Life But This

The sequel to A Long, Long Sleep, titled No Life But This, is officially in the works with the British publisher Gollancz, on track for publication in December. No other sales or languages at this time, but hey, WE GOT ONE!!! It’s happening, folks. Thanks to everyone who has encouraged me, and begged for a sequel.

I really loved your book!(It had me crying and smiling and crying and oh my…) I picked it up yesterday and could not put it down! I can honestly say it is one of my favorite books. Your book was simply awesome. The romance, thrill, depth and chill to it all was…woah. And in the end, it all worked out (in a twisted sort of way, kind of) and Rosalinda and Xavier really were true soul mates. It’s still taking me time to just think about it, especially all Rosalinda went through. She really is as tough as nails..or thorns hehe
I can’t wait for the sequel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I loved A Long, Long Sleep, and I’m very happy to hear that the sequel is finally coming out, yay! That’s certainly reason for the readers to celebrate, but from reading your previous comments and posts (what there was of them), it was very obvious that the whole editing process was severely distressing and difficult.

I’m not sure how to say this, but I can tell from the first book that you really cared about how the story was written, and I just hope that this sequel turned out how you wanted it to be, or that if changes were made that they only made NLBT stronger. Let me apologize if I’m being rude, I’m not trying to say I know you or that I assume anything, I just wish for this second book to be everything you wanted it to be and more.

Congratulations, and thank you for sharing Rose’s story with us all. 🙂

The book turned out just great — everything that was important is still there, once I had an editor that was on the same page as I, and everything that was changed makes the book better. Thank you for your concern, though — and you aren’t rude, that was actually very considerate.

I just finished your book (A Long Long Sleep) last night and I cried sooo much! I am exceedingly ecstatic about your sequel and will buy the first and second book once No Life But This is out. I have also suggested it to my school’s library, I am really happy that I will be reading your book in less that two months, thank you for writing it!
